Desired Qualifications:
* IT experience related to programming, integration or infrastructure
* Computer related or Engineering related Masters degree
* Experience managing License Management applications (FlexNet, FlexLM, RLM, Sentinel, etc.), working with vendors on license renewals, and working with application owners
* Experience managing Notification & Alerting systems (TelAlert or similar)and working with end users on alerting related issues.
* Systems Administration experience with Windows Server (2003/2008) & Red Hat Enterprise Linux
* Cross-functional application administration experience with understanding of client/server configurations
* Experience with PERL or UNIX shell scripting
* Knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, etc.
* Strong technical skills and experience with various information technology environments
* Troubleshooting and self driven problem diagnosis & resolution skills
* Knowledge of ITSM processes (incident, change, and problem)
* Ability to effectively work across multiple organizational groups with a working knowledge of Caterpillar's technical infrastructure (Application/Server/Network/Database)
